MediaGeni is the studio of Vidal de Wit, freelance web designer and developer based in Castricum, the Netherlands. Websites, webshops, apps and custom software, all from one pair of hands. No account manager in between, and no work quietly passed on to someone else.
It started in 2007 with a single website for a travel company. More than seventy projects have followed since: from a webshop for handmade ceramics to a native app that thousands of people use on the beach to check whether the tide is coming in.
What all those projects have in common is that they started on my desk and left from it as well. Design, build, copy, findability and maintenance: I do it myself. That saves meetings, and above all it means nothing falls between the cracks.
I like working for companies that know exactly what they want, and for companies that do not know yet. In the first case I build it. In the second we think it through together first, because the cheapest website is the one you do not have to build twice.

Websites age, plugins change and so do search engines. I stay available for the maintenance and the adjustments that follow.
