Install Responsive Mockup Generator and complete the quick start

This guide starts with the installable wp-responsive.zip file from your CodeCanyon download.

Install the plugin #

1. Sign in to WordPress as an administrator.
2. Open Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin.
3. Select wp-responsive.zip, choose Install Now, and activate the plugin.
4. Open Responsive Mockup > Settings.

Create the generator page #

1. Create a new WordPress page, for example Responsive Mockup Generator.
2. Add a Shortcode block containing [wp_responsive].
3. Publish the page.
4. Return to Responsive Mockup > Settings and select it as the Responsive Mockup Generator page.

Create the portfolio page #

1. Create another page, for example Client Portfolio.
2. Add a Shortcode block containing [wp_responsive_clients].
3. Publish the page and select it as the Clients Portfolio Page in the plugin settings.

Finally, set a public default website URL and save the settings. Test both pages while logged out.
